IT ALL STARTED WITH SOMETHING MISSING

The story of the START OF THE network

Prior to 2014, our Founder and Director, Trey McGuire began noticing a trend, and that trend was unacceptable to him. Serving in a local church, Trey worked hand in hand with young adults of our area. The more service members he met, the more he noticed that our Warriors were alone. That hole was something that he set out to fill.

Over the years, a tight knit group of airmen alongside Trey set their sights on filling what was missing with a makeshift extended "family". Out of that small "family" of brothers, the first Warrior's Thanksgiving Feast was born, as a way to make sure our local Warriors were not alone at Thanksgiving. From that November 2014 night, the idea of The Network was born.
Fast forward through the years and family has become our identity...and out of that identity, we have identified multiple things that we believe our Warriors bring to the table. A culture of radical and selfless care born out of the very pain and experiences of Trey's personal life has grown into a cause that is helping our Warriors understand their own personal experiences are not just what has happened to them, rather is what prepares them to use their God given abilities to influence their world around them.

The Network was born out of something missing, and we believe that the things that are the greatest holes, pains, missteps, and issues can be the greatest tools we could ever be given.

AND WHAT FILLED WHAT WAS MISSING GAVE US A VISION

We envision a culture where every Warrior serving in our Armed Forces receives support, finds value, has purpose, embraces potential, and uses their influence to make a difference.

THAT LED US TO ASK SOME BOLD QUESTIONS

WHAT IF EVERY WARRIOR KNEW THEY MATTERED?
We believe that every Warrior we come in contact with matters more than they could ever imagine.
WHAT IF EVERY WARRIOR LIVED IN THEIR PURPOSE?
We believe that every Warrior we come in contact with has a purpose bigger than themselves.
WHAT IF EVERY WARRIOR TOLD THEIR STORY?
We believe that every Warrior we come in contact with has a story of their own experiences that needs to be heard.
WHAT IF EVERY WARRIOR UNDERSTOOD THEIR INFLUENCE?
We believe that every Warrior we come in contact with has can use their story to effect the lives of those around them.

THAT LED TO A MISSION.

WE ARE A FAMILY ON A MISSION TO SUPPORT, CONNECT, EQUIP, AND MOBILIZE THE VERY CORE OF EVERY WARRIOR.

WE SUPPORT

First and foremost, we take care of our military community. This is the cornerstone of The Warrior Network. Whatever and whenever the need, we want to help meet it, whether spiritual, physical, relational, or emotional. We understand that there are many needs that our military community faces, especially being separated from family, and many times that need comes attached to a crisis. We want to provide support for individuals, marriages, deployed families, grief, substance abuse, etc. You need help with something, have a loss, need support during a deployment, need to talk, need prayer support, a friend, a shoulder, someone to listen, family to hang with, we are here.

WE CONNECT

As we support, we also connect you with needed resources in our community. We want to be proactive in helping service members feel at home and ease the search for necessary things ranging from everything from a solid church home, school, counselor, or financial institution, to a good place to eat, a gym, a realtor, family friendly places to go, etc...all the while, making sure the resources at your fingertips are accessible in times of calm and crisis. The Warrior Network stands to be just one way that our military community and local community connect!

WE EQUIP

As we support and connect, we want give you the necessary tools to ultimately make a difference in others around you who may need the support you have received. We help build a solid foundation in the men and women of our military community. We equip you to be the difference makers you are. We believe that growth happens one on one and in small groups so we put a high priority on mentorship and leadership development. This is done through mentoring relationships, our intern program, counseling, etc. We firmly believe that many of life's issues can be helped with a friend, so we strive to never underestimate the growth that can happen with a friend enjoying a meal together.

WE MOBILIZE

You've been supported, you're connected, you're being equipped, now it's your turn to give that same support. We want to help you understand your God-given responsibility and ability to take your story, your past, and your experiences and LEAD those around you, above you, and in your care. YOU are the ones who will influence, care for, and lead your peers, your co-workers, our community, and the future of our military. When you realize that you have the potential to change lives, serve, lead, influence, and care for others, then you are now helping others to go through this exact same cycle of support, connection, and equipping, eventually creating the culture of service members using their influence to make a difference.

AND THIS MISSION DEMANDED A DECLARATION

ALL GUARDED BY OUR CORE VALUES

The word values is defined as a person's or organization's principles or standards of behavior.  We are committed to these four things. Everything we do filters through who we are and what we value.

INTEGRITY

We value integrity above everything. We are real people and we deal with real issues. We must be honest about where we have been in order to get to where we are going.

SERVICE

We value service. If you see a need and are passionate about meeting it without asking for anything in return, then this service is where we believe you find purpose.

RELATABILITY

We value relationships. Relationships are what fill the void left when you feel alone, and this is where the everyday pains of life are dealt with as family.

LEADERSHIP

We value leadership. Leadership through service is paramount to influence. We are never stronger than when we show others how to impact this world by simply serving others.

LED BY A team

You've heard it said "There is nothing stronger than the heart of a volunteer..."  Well, we believe it's true.
From the ground up, The Network is built on volunteers who give of themselves because of the love they have for every Warrior they come in contact with.
