WHAT IS THE
EVERY WARRIOR
INTERN TEAM?

The Every Warrior Intern Team is made up of four to six currently serving Warriors who volunteer their time and serve alongside our Leadership Team to help accomplish our mission of supporting, connecting, equipping, and mobilizing the very core of every Warrior we come in contact with. 

Creatives and innovators, doers and dreamers, servers and helpers, night owls and early birds, introverts and extroverts are all encouraged to apply.
Interns can expect to:
  • Serve for one year.
  • Discover their giftedness, and work in it.
  • Determine their passion, and serve from it.
  • Walk through leadership and development books as a team.
  • Have a voice with our team.
  • Advocate for their fellow Warriors and military families.
  • Learn the ins and outs of running a non-profit.
  • Help create, develop, and lead programs. 
  • Help plan and execute events and initiatives.
  • Contribute to and collaborate on new and ongoing projects.
  • Serve in our community.
  • Develop their own leadership.
  • Develop their strengths and learn from their weaknesses.
  • and much more.


THE DETAILS

TEAM MAKEUP

This team will be made up of 4-6 currently serving service members, with the possibility of representation from all branches, and chosen from available applicants.

APPLICATION PROCESS AND APPOINTMENT

  • Applications are being accepted throughout the month of March 2024.
  • Applications are reviewed as they come in and chosen applicants are appointed by our Lead Staff Team.
  • Vacated positions due to resignation, long term deployment, PCS, etc. will be filled by our Lead Staff Team from current applicants.

TERM & TIME

  • Team members will be appointed for a one year term from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025

  • We ask our Interns to prepare to give about 5 hours per week max, and that work/time can happen wherever you are in this world and in whatever life stage you are in. Whether that's at our office or deployed, we work with you and your already busy schedule. Remember, even for our Lead Staff, the majority of the work of Every Warrior is out in the field. some from a computer, some face to face, some at events, some at serve projects, etc. Time will vary, but not exceed five hours per week MAX.

MEETINGS & COMMUNICATION

  • Our Intern Team will meet regularly with our leadership via Zoom and/or in person. Meeting schedule will be determined by the group. 
  • Interns will also communicate via an ongoing group chat.
