WE'RE ROOTED

IN A STORY

STORY /stôrē/ noun.  An account of past events in someone's life or in the evolution of something.

Prior to 2014, our Founder and Director, Trey McGuire began noticing a trend, and that trend was unacceptable to him. Serving in a local church, Trey worked hand in hand with young adults of our area. The more service members he met, the more he noticed that our Warriors were alone. That hole was something that he set out to fill.

Over the years, a tight knit group of airmen alongside Trey set their sights on filling what was missing with a makeshift extended "family". Out of that small "family" of brothers, the first Warrior's Thanksgiving Feast was born, as a way to make sure our local Warriors were not alone at Thanksgiving. From that November 2014 night, the idea of a non-profit organization was born.

Fast forward through the years and family has become our identity...and out of that identity, we have identified multiple things that we believe our Warriors bring to the table. A culture of radical and selfless care, born out of the very pain and experiences of Trey's personal life, has become the foundation which we build on to help Warriors around the world. This culture is one that fights for every Warrior to understand the fact that their own personal experiences are not just things that have happened to them, but rather, they're what prepare them to use their God-given abilities to influence their world around them.

THROUGHOUT MILITARY HISTORY,

THE GUIDON has been the “standard” or “flag” that represents the unit as a whole. Around here, these ten core values act as our guidon, our standards. Both as an organization and as people who make up the organization, we’re not only guided and shaped by these principles, we strive to be known by them.

WE'RE IDENTIFIED

AS A FAMILY

IDENTITY /īˈden(t)ədē/ noun.  The fact of being who or what a person or thing is.

We like to define the word FAMILY as follows: THOSE WHO KNOW YOU BEST AND LOVE YOU MOST.

While we know we can't replace the family you left back home, our culture fills that void with the love, support, friendship, & care that is just as real.
This family does not discriminate.

Regardless of race, rank, religion, creed, occupation, orientation, or anything else that may divide, this family fights for the good of every single Warrior we come in contact with.
Early on, one of our Warriors said "this sounds like family, and that's what I need."

Families do life together, through the good and bad, and so do we. We want you, our Warriors, to know that they are not alone.

OUR WORK HAS BEEN LASER-FOCUSED ON CURRENTLY-SERVING MILITARY MEMBERS (Active/Guard/Reserves) AND THEIR FAMILIES.

We're fighting for the good of every Warrior we come in contact with at what we call your intersection of crisis and influence.

In that moment, when you're faced with what may be the hardest moments of your life, our work meets you there...loving you unconditionally and leading you relentlessly as you face the storm ahead.

We're here, ready and willing to meet you whenever you need whatever it is you need. Ready and willing to charge with you through your unexpected crisis or self-made circumstance to the other side, where the battle-tested wisdom you'll then own will meet other Warriors that need someone to charge their storm with them.
