#FACTS

▹▸  Northwest Louisiana (NWLA) is home to a vast array of non-profit organizations (NPOs)...actively serving an equally vast array of need throughout this community. With a vision of a world where the need they saw was met, they set off laser focused on their respective mission to meet that need head on.
▹▸  NWLA is also home to a vast array of people. Home to one of the largest military installations in the nation as well as representation from all aspects of military service, Warriors and military families from every walk of life are vital parts of what makes our area strong.

While some chose to move back home when their military service comes to an end, a surprising amount of military members chose to remain in the area, therefore, creating an ever growing veteran and retiree population.

When asked why a military member chose to stay, their overwhelming response is this: "the people."
▹▸  Over the years, these realities raised a question? What would happen if we helped connect a few dots.

● 1  The Warriors we serve...who sometimes feel lost, isolated, homesick, and purposeless, yet truly desire to be part of something bigger than themselves.

● 2  The Warriors gone before them...both those who've found community & those who haven't yet.

3  The great folks that make up our community.

● 4  The overwhelming opportunity to jump in and make a difference with NPOs out there already providing an avenue for like-minded individuals from all walks of life to work together for a common cause.

▹▸  Our answer to that question? #EWGivesBack

HOW IT WORKS

▹▸  Beginning September 2024, we're asking you, both Warriors and Friends, to help meet needs right here in our community!

▹▸  Each month, we'll partner with a different local non-profit, highlighting specific ways you can help them with their mission.

▹▸  All month long, we'll share ways you can donate any physical goods/supplies they need, and we'll also collect financial donations on their behalf.

▹▸  At the end of each month, any donated goods or funds will be given directly to that months organization.

▹▸  On top of that, we'll let you know how you can connect with them and make a difference through volunteering.

SEPTEMBER 2024 EMPHASIS

They accomplish this mission through a three part process:

  1. RECLAIM - They receive and gather gently used furniture and household goods.
  2. RENEW - They clean, repair and re-purpose furniture and household items.
