Temporary household goods for moving military families.

HOW IT ALL WORKS.

Do you have orders moving you and your family to or from one of our current areas of operation? Then we want to help! Due to the fact your household goods often arrive after you (or depart prior to)...we have created the Warehouse as a place you can get basic and temporary household items, then simply return them free of charge.

STEP 1

Prior to moving, take a look at what we have below and, if interested, fill out the form at the bottom of this page. We will then work with you to get your reservations scheduled. 

STEP 2

When it's time to get what you need, we will meet up at our Network offices and we will pack your vehicle for you. If situations demand it, we can even deliver. Have no fear, this is designed to fit into a truck or larger SUV in one trip. So, no need for a moving truck or anything like that.

STEP 3

Enjoy our items until your personal belongings arrive. When you're belongings arrive, make sure everything is clean and just return the items on the date we have agreed upon.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHY IN THE WORLD DO WE DO THIS?

Because, many times, when military families move, their household goods are packed and shipped for them. Most of the time, that happens weeks before they leave our area. If they are moving here,  their goods sometimes arrive weeks after they move here and are required to report to work. Basically, we do this so that our military families don't have to sleep, eat, or sit on the floor...or go buy unnecessary belongings.

WHO CAN USE THIS SERVICE?

Any currently serving military members who have orders to or from the Shreveport/Bossier area, Colorado Springs area,  San Antonio area, or San Diego area that is going to spend time on either side of their move without their household goods.

CAN I PICK WHAT I WANT?

You can choose which sets you want. We have four sets of items including living room, dining room, bedroom, and kitchen. We will work with you to customize any set EXCEPT for the kitchen set. The kitchen set is packed and sorted in such a way that it will always go out as a set. Example of customization: Bedroom sets come with one queen size air mattress and two twin size air mattresses. But, if you have three kids, we can give you three twin mattresses instead of two. There is a place on the form you're about to fill out to let us know if you need something customized.

WHY DO YOU SUPPLY THE ITEMS YOU SUPPLY?

In the planning stages of this project, we decided that one of our key values was ease and portability. That is why we went with the inflatable and camping style furnishings. We also polled many service members and are striving to provide the top items we learned were the greatest needs. This project, by design and intentionality, is supposed to be very temporary and very easy to transport without being a burden. Although temporary and inflatable, we strive to provide you with the highest of quality.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO USE THESE ITEMS?

That's simple. You ready for the answer?
Absolutely nothing!

CAN I DONATE TO THE CAUSE?

Yes, we accept financial donations toward the Warrior Warehouse. We DO NOT accept donations of goods simply because we have specific items we supply. If you want to support this cause, which we greatly appreciate, then check out the "Support the Warehouse" section below.

If you want to donate goods, please consider giving your goods to our great friends at the Barksdale Airman's Attic.

I'M NOT MOVING, CAN I TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS?

Short answer, no. Long answer, that's not our lane nor the purpose of the Warehouse. Our purpose with the Warehouse is to ease the burden on the military family who is heading out or coming in to their next assignment. If you need household items but do not have orders to move, please take advantage of the Airman's Attic (or equivalent) at your respective installation. That's exactly what they do and they do it quite well.

WHAT IF MY DOG EATS IT?

We do ask that you strive to take care of the items in your possession, but we understand that accidents happen. If something gets broken or destroyed, just let us know. We will NOT demand that you replace it. We're not going to make life miserable for you if you break a plate. All we ask is that you take good care of it all (and just make sure dad doesn't jump on the bed...cause we all know it's not the kids that do that).
