The Story

In the early days of our organization, way back in 2016, we took over an old abandoned boat store in south Bossier. The goal: A big party to celebrate our military kids. Over the years that followed, KidFest grew to become one of our flagship events.

At the same time, we set in stone a tradition of "bringing the family together" at the start of the holiday season through events like our Warrior's Thanksgiving Feast and WarriorFest.

Fast forward to today...and this Thanksgiving season will be no different. Happening right in the middle of national Military Family Month, we're stoked for the return of our biggest party of the year, continuing the tradition of ensuring our Warriors experience a little bit of home away from home.

Honestly, this one event is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the love and support you and your family deserve!

KidFest Gives Back

Each year, we give you, our Warriors, families, and volunteers, the opportunity to give back...and this year is no different. We've got two items we're collecting:

NEW, UNUSED TOYS

These toys will be used to help military families this Christmas who may be struggling to provide for their kids due to unexpected hardship.

CANNED GOODS

These goods will be given to our friends at the American Legion Post No. 14, supporting their efforts to stock our local VA Food Pantry.
When you get to KidFest, you'll see a Christmas Tree setup in the foyer. Donations can be placed under the tree.

You DO NOT have to participate in this to attend. This is totally optional.

The Kidfest eXperience Team

Volunteer With Us!

WE NEED YOU TO BE ONE OF OVER 150 VOLUNTEERS that help make KidFest happen. If you've got a heart for our Warriors and a smiling face, then you have what it takes to help create a memorable experience for our Warriors and their families.
CAN I VOLUNTEER?
If you're a civilian, veteran/retiree, or a currently serving Warrior without kiddos, then you're welcome to serve with us! All you need to possess is a love for our military families and a smiling face. We ask that our military moms and dads come out and enjoy the evening with your kiddos rather than volunteer.
WHAT WILL I DO?
Volunteers are the lifeblood of this event. Many of our volunteers sign up as part of one of our partner organizations, and if that's you, you'll be placed with your organization. If you're not part of a partner org, you'll help in areas like check-in, greeting, managing inflatables, etc.

Volunteers will receive any necessary information/details along with job assignments prior to the event.
WHAT TIMES WILL I SERVE?
Volunteers need to arrive the day of the event (Saturday, November 16) by 1:30pm. This will give us time to get checked in, have a team meeting, and be ready to go in time for doors to open to our Warriors at 3:00pm. The event ends with our professional fireworks show at 6pm.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Come comfortable! You'll probably be on your feet a good portion of the afternoon, so comfortable shoes are a must. Feel free to deck yourself out in purple, and be as festive as you want! The event is both inside and outside, and some of our team will be serving outside. We'll identify those individuals prior to the event, so you can make sure you're dressed appropriately.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Just yourself. We'll provide lanyards and name tags for you, along with chairs, snacks, water, etc. Please do not bring any pets, and make sure any children that come with you are at an appropriate age to serve alongside you.
