Adapt and Overcome

Dec 26, 2020

If you would have asked ANYONE on January 1, 2020 what they expected 2020 to be like, we would be willing to bet you would not find one soul that would have expected what we got. Adapt and Overcome seemed to be the norm moving throughout the Spring and Summer, and even still now.

As an organization, when our events all got cancelled for the year back in March, it shook us a little. With that shaking though, came opportunity. Opportunity to use the extra time and resources to adapt as an organization and really begin to lay the foundation of having a global reach. As a team, we worked hard to overcome every obstacle thrown our way, and as long as the mission remained the focus, we found that adapting and overcoming was actually fun, and it gave us new room to be creative in how we support, connect, equip, and mobilize you! (More on that in another post)

As a people, we all learned together that overcoming was something that we were going to have to do. And to a point, we are still overcoming, maybe even just began overcoming. We've been faced with fear, isolation, depression, disunity, political strife, racism, you name it...someone has faced it this year. How has this year helped you GROW? As we look at all the bad,.where has it stretched you? Where has it revealed areas that need refining? Where has it pressed you further than you ever thought you could go? When we give voice to those things and areas in our lives, overcoming is at our fingertips and adapting can be something that is life changing for us.
