Easter Bunnies

What in the world does Easter Bunnies have to do with 2020? Well, we're glad you asked.

One, it's a sign of adaptability and of creativity.
Two, it's a sign of intentional fun.
Three, it's a sign of simply paying attention.

As the pandemic was ramping up and as stay at home orders and travel restrictions were moving just as fast, we realized that just because we can't do what we normally do doesn't mean we can't do something. So, let's get the Easter Bunny himself to come hang with us for a morning and let's throw him in the back of a borrowed Jeep (thank you Ashley Carpenter) and take him all over Barksdale Air Force Base.

This truly was one of the most fun things we did this year and one that was exceptionally meaningful. The smiles, the laughs, the waves...all of them were worth it...and you know what it actually cost us financially to do that? NOTHING. Yes, the Easter Bunny showed us that we can creatively meet our Warriors and their families where they are and do it with the same excellence they deserve and not break the bank. Those smiles, those laughs from the kids, those dads and moms waiting with their lil Warriors to get a glimpse of our drive by, all of that and more were all moments that we will never forget.
