Street TEAM CLEANed UP WELL
Between 30 different serve opportunities, our Street Team cleaned up 8,935lbs of litter and 221 tires from the sides of the roads of Shreveport/Bossier City.
Teaming with organizations like Keep Bossier Beautiful and Shreveport Green, the EW Street Team works to help Warriors give back to their local communities by helping clean up litter.
This initiative is one we are seeking to expand to other installations and military communities in 2022.

MORE THAN STRESS RELIEF
You may know that our mascot is the Bison. In 2021, we created the Every Warrior Stress Bison, which is a fun and simple way of helping our Warriors remember that they can charge whatever storm they are facing head on.
To date, over 1000 Stress Bisons have been given out.

in the shadows of the best
We had the unique privilege of getting to meet some of the Air Force's senior leadership. In this time, our leaders got to experience some of Barksdale's top Warriors. In the weeks that followed, we got to know the stories of these men and women pictured plus several more.
To us, these aren't "the best" just because of their work efforts, no, their stories and the influence they are leaving in their wake are what makes them amazing warriors to know.

truth was spoken
TruthBeTold, which is our response to Warriors struggling with suicide and mental health issues, took on a whole new meaning as we expanded it to be an overall voice spoken from us to Warriors around the world. including social media, our app, and website, we built a foundation where truth will be spoken for years to come...right when our Warriors need it most.

stigmas began to die
Thanks to the generous support of Litton Mortgage and Lamar Outdoor Advertising, we were able to speak to the masses. Through this billboard, we wanted to show just how easy it can be to make sure we are okay. Though stigmas may tell us we can't be honest, we began chipping away at the lies by making sure you understood that we all have a responsibility to check on those around us and to be honest with those that love us.
When this happens out there in our everyday life, #killthestigma will come truly become a reality.

ice storms created opportunity
3276 - That's the estimated number of water bottles that were given out when our home base area became gripped in an ice storm for the ages (for NW Louisiana).
That, on top of over 150 quesadilla plates (given by our friends at Dillas), made it a little easier for Barksdale's Warriors living both on base and off to face over a week with limited water and intermittent heat and power.

hurricane victims found help
In the summer of 2021, Hurricane Ida decimated south Louisiana. When this happened, two Warriors come to us with their own plans to help their home towns that were impacted.
We were able to support both of these efforts as they influenced their world.
Four trailer loads later, hundreds, if not thousands, of families displaced by this disaster found the necessary supplies they needed to begin picking up the pieces.

Through our Warrior's Family Center, we were able to host 306 events for our Warriors, all at no cost to them.
Whether a baby shower or a retirement, a work meeting or a birthday party...our Warriors moments were made. If the walls of our 3,000 square foot facility could talk, they would tell of laughs and tears, growth and development, all given at no charge and made possible by our generous donors, as well as our phenomenal partnership with the Coordinating and Development Corporation.
Through this, a value of over $93,000 was saved among these 306 military members and families.

Over 50 families took advantage of our temporary household goods throughout 2021.
Many times, when military families face moving from base to base, their personal belongings get packed and shipped anywhere from a week to even a couple months before them...and when they arrive at their new base, they arrive anywhere from a week to a couple months after the family. Our Warrior Warehouse seeks to eliminate this need, and under our watch, no military member or family member will sleep on the floor.
