I'm Willing to Take the Bullet

One of the key things that unify the Warriors on the battlefield is this: They are willing to take the bullet for their fellow Warrior. No questions asked, Warriors in the middle of war will lay down their lives if it means their fellow Warriors live. When we say we've got each other's backs, do we really mean that we would sacrifice for that person? Whether it is sacrificing time and comfort or life and limb, the willingness to lay down our own personal wellbeing is a quality that few friendships even realize they have. Truth is...if you've got someone's six, the fact that you're watching the parts of their lives they can't see may just demand that you step in and take something that was meant for that person.
